Duties and Responsibilities:

Plastic surgeons are medical professionals, specializing in the correction or restoration of form and function of damaged or malformed areas of the body. Plastic surgery includes many types of reconstructive surgery, hand surgery, microsurgery, and the treatment of burns. Plastic surgery, as a specialty, evolved remarkably during the 20th century in the United States, gaining increasing importance during the treatment of World War I soldiers with complex maxillofacial injuries.

Average Salary: $323,434

Educational Requirements:

Most prospective plastic surgeons complete undergraduate degrees prior to attending medical school. Although bachelor's degrees in any major are acceptable, premedical students must complete certain prerequisite courses, including chemistry, biology and physics. The first two years of medical school, referred to as the preclinical years, teach students the fundamentals of body systems, diseases and patient care. The final two years are the clinical years and place students in healthcare facilities to perform clinical rotations. Surgery is a required rotation and some schools offer clerkships in plastic surgery.

Reflection: Personally I would love to one day be able to become an Acupuncture since I love to help and cure people when they are in need of medical assistance. I am also not afraid of any bloody scenes so I believe this would be the perfect job for a young man like me.

Duties and Responsibilities: Otolaryngologists, like other physicians, must keep accurate records of their findings, diagnoses and treatments of patients. Doctors in private practice must also deal with making reports to insurance companies, negotiating for payment from insurance and the day-to-day operations of a small business -- hiring and managing personnel, complying with local licensing requirements and paying utilities. Psychologists study the behavior and actions of people to understand, explain, and change their behavior patterns.  They also provide counseling and therapy to those with emotional, learning, and behavior problems.  Psychologists work in schools, clinics, hospitals, and private practice.  They can specialize in clinical, educational, quantitative, developmental, social, experimental, and industrial-organizational psychology.  Their duties often include:

                                                     Duties and Responsibilities:

Pharmacists compound, or prepare, prescriptions written by physicians, dentists, and other practitioners.  They review these prescriptions to validate their accuracy and then prepare the medication.  This can involve weighing, measuring, and mixing drugs.  Once the compounds are prepared, pharmacists then dispense them to customers and patients. Pharmacists answer patients' and customers' questions about the drugs they are taking and drugs which can be sold over the counter.  In some cases, pharmacists are responsible for taking inventory of the drugs on the shelves and ordering any which they are low on. Pharmacists work in hospitals, clinics, health departments, universities, and grocery, drug, and discount stores.  Those who work in stores must be aware of the other health supplies available in the store so they do not direct customers in the wrong direction.

Students should take the most challenging high school classes (including AP or IB) available in English, science, and math. Duties and Responsibilities: 

Patient Representatives work for healthcare administrators to address the concerns and special needs of patients and their families.  They evaluate patient satisfaction, investigate complaints, collect information about patient dissatisfaction, work with departments to resolve patient problems, and educate staff.

Education Requirements:

Reflection: 

Me personally would love to be a Patient Representative since I love to help people find solutions to their concerns and all those special needs they are seeking for. I would also like to be a Patient Representative since I love to educate others on how, and why they are dissatisfied with their results, and would also investigate why they are having these complaints.
