Pharmacy Technician
Duties and Responsibilities:
Pharmacists compound, or prepare, prescriptions written by
physicians, dentists, and other practitioners.
They review these prescriptions to validate their accuracy and then
prepare the medication. This can involve
weighing, measuring, and mixing drugs. Once the compounds are prepared, pharmacists
then dispense them to customers and patients. Pharmacists work in hospitals,
clinics, health departments, universities, and grocery, drug, and discount
stores. Those who work in stores must be
aware of the other health supplies available in the store so they do not direct
customers in the wrong direction.
Average Salary:$33,00 - $55,000
Educational Requirements:
Students should take the most challenging high school
classes (including AP or IB) available in English, science, and math. All
pharmacists must graduate from a college of pharmacy. Most pharmacy schools require applicants to
take the Pharmacy College Admissions Test (P-CAT), and some require up to two
years of pre-pharmacy education. Other
colleges will admit students directly from high school. Normally it takes at
least five years to earn a Pharmacy Degree.
To earn a Doctor of Pharmacy degree,
Pharm.D., requires at least six.
Reflection:
I would certainly love to one day become a Pharmacy Technician.
Since I would love to be the one who personally hand-delivers the medicine prescribed
by their doctor to my wonderful ill patients.

"I will persist intil I succeed"
By: Og Mandino (Author of "The Greatest Salesman in the World")
REFLECTION:
This very inspirational quote said by, "The Greatest Salesman in the World", Og Mandino, is one of the most motivating, life changing quotes i have ever heard in my life time. One good example of persisting intil you succeed will be how Michael Jordan, a famous basketball player and not to mention the best basketball player in the world, strived him self to succeed in life even after failing so many times in life. He kept practacing and practicing intil one day he was announced the best basketball player in the game. And that is how one will succeed in life.CHOOSE THE RIGHT!

"Nothing In the would Could take the place of Persistence.TALENT: will not; nothing is more common than successful men with talent.
GENIUS: will not; unrewarded genius is almost a proverb
EDUCATION: will not; the world is full of educated derelicts.
Persistence and Determination alone are omnipotent. The slogan "Press On" has solved and always will solve the problems of the human race."President Calvin Coolidge 30th President of US (1872-1933)

Reflection:
This qoute once said by one of our most respected presidents of the United States, is very inpirational and a real true statement said by President Calvin Coolidge. A perfect example of this would be Michael Jordan. He was determined to be the best basketball player in the world, and now look at him. A couple decades later he is still considered the best basketball player of all time. And not too mention, he is still well remembered, and respected by numerous of people around the world.
